Dr. Nanthakumar Srivilliputtur Subbiah is currently a visiting researcher at CMXAI, Fudan University.
He received his Ph.D. from Bauhaus University Weimar, where his doctoral research focused on inverse methods for piezoelectric structures using the extended finite element method (XFEM). He subsequently worked as a research scientist at Leibniz University Hannover, with research covering topology optimization of piezoelectric and flexoelectric nanostructures, phononic metamaterials, and topological insulators.
His research interests include topology optimization, inverse design, piezoelectric and flexoelectric nanostructures, phononic metamaterials, and topological materials. He has published around 30 papers in the fields of topology optimization and inverse design.
